A woman can be very good at her life.

She can answer the question.

Make the decision.

Hold the meeting.

Keep going.

And still miss the moment her body stopped agreeing with her.

Not dramatically.

Nothing has to collapse.

She notices she is tired after conversations that used to energize her.

She keeps saying yes and feels herself disappear a little afterward.

Many time she is still performing beautifully.

That is what makes it hard to see.

Because from the outside, nothing looks wrong.

But the body is already answering.

I have been thinking about that lately.

How much intelligence gets lost when a woman keeps overriding the part of herself that knows before she can explain.

How much leadership gets flattened when we treat the body like transportation for the brain.

How many women have become excellent at functioning while becoming harder to find inside their own lives.

And then one day, something small changes.

A no feels clean.

Silence does not need fixing.

She leaves when she is ready.

She wants something without chasing it.

She notices that her body is no longer fighting her decisions.

That is when she realizes: the body was never the problem.

It was part of the intelligence.

And being inside herself begins to feel delicious.
